Kartini’s Day

Monuments may rise and milestone being set, yet there is an abiding memorial that no pen or chisel has traced it is graven not on stone or brass, but on the living hearts of Indonesian people. She who fought for Indonesian women emancipation now may rest in peace as the result of her struggle now could be seen. Out of dark comes the light as she was the light shining upon every Indonesian woman who continued in her footsteps.

Kresna Coffee Shop in commemoration of Kartini’s Day is going to host Javanese Cuisine Festival starting from April, 21 – April 25, 2014. Vast selections of Javanese cuisine will be served on that days, the entire waitress will be dressed with traditional dress “Kebaya” as a way of showing our concern with the Indonesian culture preservation.
